Douglas Ross is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he focuses on fundraising for Blue Owl Liquid Credit Strategies as well as the broader suite of Blue Owl funds.
Before joining Blue Owl in 2023, Doug was Head of North American Business Development at TFG Asset Management for 10 years. Prior to that, he headed business development for Field Street Capital globally. Previously, Doug was a partner at Normandy Hill Capital, responsible for fund raising and all other business related activities. Before Normandy Hill, Doug held business development roles for hedge fund seeding and platform businesses including Tiger Management and Vega Asset Management. Doug spent the first 10 years of his career trading rates and volatility on rates as well as Emerging Market fixed income products at proprietary desks including Banco Santander, Chase Manhattan Bank and BankBoston.
Doug earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Richmond.
James Rotchford is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Net Lease Investment Team. James Rotchford serves as a Principal at Blue Owl, Real Estate. In this role, Mr. Rotchford is responsible for sourcing and executing on the Firm’s European real estate investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Mr. Rotchford served as Director at Eastdil Secured, where he led the firms European Net Lease Advisory team for six years, based in London.
Prior to Eastdil Secured, Mr. Rotchford was Fixed Income Sales Associate and Equity Financing Products Sales-Trader at Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Rotchford graduated from Lafayette College with a B.A. in Economics and is a CFA Charterholder.
Kyle Roth is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Real Estate Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and managing potential real estate investment opportunities.
Before joining Blue Owl, Kyle was Director of Investments at Innovo Property Group, a real estate development firm in New York. Prior to that, he was a Director of Acquisitions at GFP, an owner, operator, and developer based in New York, and previously spent four years on the real estate credit team at Brookfield Asset Management. Kyle began his career in the Real Estate Finance Group at UBS.
Kyle received his BS in Real Estate & Finance, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Matt Rothfleisch is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, Matt oversees public markets investing for the Alternative Credit team and is a member of the Investment Committee and Operating Committee. Matt manages portfolios that focus on Stressed/Distressed Debt, Event-Driven Situations, Long/Short Credit, Capital Structure Arbitrage and SPACs.
Before joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Partner at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. Prior to that, he was the Founder, CEO and CIO of Rotation Capital, a New York based opportunistic hedge fund. Before that, Matt was a Partner at Del Mar Asset Management, overseeing the Credit business and serving as a member of the Investment and Management Committees. Prior to that he was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Highbridge/Zwirn managing the Domestic Capital Structure Arbitrage portfolio. He began working on the buyside as a Trader and Desk Analyst at Oak Hill after working as an Investment Banking and Capital Markets Analyst at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.
Matthew has a BA in Political Science from Columbia College.
Tom Rowland is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he serves as a Credit Product Specialist working closely with the regional Institutional Capital teams while also interacting actively with the investment teams to help support and enhance client service and sales efforts for the various credit strategies across the firm.
Tom has 22 years of investment management experience across liquid and illiquid credit strategies. Before joining Blue Owl, he was a Managing Director in Business Development for Silver Point Capital. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at GCM Grosvenor where he was on the investment team and focused on credit manager research for the Absolute Return Strategies group. Tom began his career at Citadel Investment Group as a high yield/distressed credit analyst.
Originally from England, Tom is based in Chicago and has a BA in Economics and certificate in Finance from Princeton University. He is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.
Gary Rozier is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Real Assets Management Team. In his role, Gary serves on the investment committee and is responsible for reviewing and approving Real Assets transactions, as well as interfacing with limited partners on the investment portfolios.
Gary was Senior Vice President at Ariel Investments for 14 years where he was responsible for business development and client services. Prior to joining Ariel, Gary spent 5 years with Rydex Funds, now Guggenheim Investments, where he served as regional vice president responsible for product development and distribution across the Midwest.
Gary earned a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.
James Rudy is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Treasurer. In his role, he is responsible for managing bank relationships across Blue Owl.
Before joining Blue Owl, he was a Partner and the Treasurer at KKR, with responsibility for overseeing KKR’s firm balance sheet. He originally joined KKR as a member of the private equity investment team covering the financial services sector. James began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Bear Stearns & Co.
James holds a BS in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, where he majored in Finance and Accounting.
Eileen Ryan is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Net Lease Investment Team. In her role she focuses on supporting the firm’s risk management and insurance needs.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Eileen was the Director of Risk Management at a global real estate company and offers more than 30-years’ experience in her career in risk and insurance management.
Eileen received her BA from the University of Illinois and holds an ARM designation in Risk Management.
Dario Salvato is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he is responsible for equity, hybrid and credit investing in private, non-sponsor backed companies.
Before joining Blue Owl, Dario spent almost a decade at Goldman Sachs. In his most recent role as a Vice President in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Investment Banking, he helped lead M&A, IPO, and capital markets transactions for corporate clients. Prior to that, he spent several years in TMT Leveraged Finance and other credit-related roles at Goldman Sachs, leading LBOs and other debt underwriting transactions.
Dario received his BA in Philosophy, with a minor in Economics from New York University.
Johann Santer is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Private Wealth APAC. Johann is a member of the global Private Wealth Leadership Team and in his role, he focuses on the firm’s expansion of the Private Wealth business across Asia Pacific markets. Johann is responsible for fundraising, expanding strategic relationships, and identifying innovative solutions for high-net-worth clients and their advisors across the APAC region.
Johann has more than 20 years of experience in the asset management and private banking industry. Before joining Blue Owl, Johann was Fidelity International’s Regional Lead for Wholesale, alongside his role as Head of Private Banking, Wealth and Strategic Clients, APAC ex-Japan. During his tenure, Johann led the successful buildout of Fidelity International’s private banking and wealth franchise in the APAC regions, adding coverage of Hong Kong and Singapore Wholesale. Prior to that, Johann was Managing Director and Head of Investment Specialists, Funds Hong Kong, at Bank Julius Baer and before that he spent 10 years at a leading quant based Hedge Fund overseeing global fund distribution. He started his career at the Credit and Rating Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Austria (OeNB).
Johann earned a combined master’s and bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Applied Science BFI Vienna.
