Principal
Benjamin Kantowitz is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Strategic Equity Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and executing new deals, as well as managing existing portfolio company investments.
Before joining Blue Owl, Benjamin was a Vice President at EQT Partners on the direct private equity team. Prior to EQT, he worked for private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, and before that for Evercore in the M&A investment banking group.
Benjamin holds a BS in Finance and Economics, summa cum laude, from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he graduated first in his class.
