Managing Director
Brent Butler is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he is responsible for managing the firm’s strategic distribution partnerships in Canada.
Before joining Blue Owl, Brent spent over 11 years at RBC in various roles, most recently within the Private Wealth division.
Brent is actively involved with several nonprofit organizations and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors of the John Tavares Foundation. He was also a founding member of the Young Professional Committee for Ronald McDonald House Toronto.
Brent received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating with Honours, and maintains Series 7 and Series 63 registrations.
