Brian Roelke is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Vice Chairman, Insurance Solutions. In his role, he is responsible for all investment, portfolio management, and risk management activities for Blue Owl’s insurance strategies.
Before joining Blue Owl, Brian was President and Chief Investment Officer at Kuvare Asset Management, the predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions where, as the first employee, he led the build out of the team. Prior to joining Kuvare Brian was Head of Private Capital at Nuveen, having spent 17 years in the TIAA organization.
Brian received an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a BA in History and Economics from Colgate University.
