Principal
Dane Giddey is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he is responsible for structuring international products and coordinating their launch from start to finish, covering fund structuring, regulatory alignment, and the build-out of operating frameworks that can scale. He also leads the onboarding, due diligence, and relationship management of distributors across private banks, platforms, and wealth managers, with the aim of creating revenue opportunities. In addition, he keeps the Legal, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Compliance teams aligned and continuously tracks risks, dependencies, and execution.
Before joining Blue Owl, he was a Senior Director at Arcmont Asset Management (fka BlueBay), where he was responsible for product development. In that role, he designed, structured, and brought new private credit products to market, working closely with the legal, operations, compliance, and distribution teams.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Rhodes University.
