Managing Director
Darragh O'Flaherty is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on investments in the technology sector, including both traditional direct lending and growth equity. Darragh also oversees Blue Owl’s investing in the healthcare IT sector.
Before joining Blue Owl in 2017, through Owl Rock Capital Partners, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform, Darragh was an investor with Guggenheim Partners, a global asset manager, where he focused on technology investments. Prior to that, he was an investment analyst at Allied Irish Banks in New York. Darragh began his career as the founder of Medibill.ie, a software business he developed to automate medical billing for physicians in Ireland.
Currently, Darragh serves on the board of the Galway University Foundation and is an Investment Committee Member and founder of the Digital Irish Venture Fund. He received a BSc in Business Information Systems and an MBS in Corporate Strategy, both from the University of Galway, as well as an MSc in Finance from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin.
