Principal
David Walasinski is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he is responsible for client reporting, operational oversight, and data governance for the Insurance Solutions business. He serves as a strategic point of contact for complex client inquiries and ensures operational readiness for new mandates, product launches, and customized insurance-specific reporting requirements.
Before joining Blue Owl, David was Senior Compliance Manager at AIG, where he supervised AIG's externally managed assets, with a focus on alternative assets, to ensure compliance with state insurance law and regulations. Preceding that role, David was Head of US Guideline Monitoring at L&G Asset Management, America, where he was responsible for pre-trade compliance rule coding, monitoring, client reporting, and fund oversight for the US institutional business.
David received his BS in Business Administration, Finance from The Ohio State University.
