Drew Phillips
Senior Managing Director
Drew Phillips is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. He is also involved in numerous firmwide initiatives that leverage his operational, legal, and leadership experience, including spearheading Blue Owl’s internal AI enablement platform.
Before joining Blue Owl, Drew was a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Atalaya Capital Management LP, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team, where he oversaw all non-investment functions.
Prior to joining Atalaya, Drew co-founded Tiger Bay Advisors, a boutique asset management consultancy.
Earlier in his career, he had a management role at Bridgewater Associates and legal roles at The Rohatyn Group, the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi, and the law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.
He is on the Board of Directors of Georgetown University Law Center and the Children’s Cancer and Blood Foundation. He is also an Emeritus Member of the Board of Directors of GOSO (Get Out and Stay Out), a New York-based organization that partners with people impacted by arrest and incarceration to plan for successful reentry into society.
Drew holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
