Fernando Cortez is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he is responsible for leading Blue Owl’s local footprint in Brazil by managing relationships with Brazilian clients, such as banks, fund platforms, and MFOs.
Before joining Blue Owl, he was Commercial Director and Head at Schroder Investment Management Brazil, where he was responsible for local client coverage and local product development.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (USP) and an MBA in Finance from Insper – Institute of Education and Research.
