Global Head of Business Services Platform
John Dyment is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Global Head of Business Services Platform. In his role, John leads a team of more than 60 professionals who deliver strategic consulting to the 60+ Partner Managers in which GP Strategic Capital has made minority stake investments. Collectively, these Partner Managers oversee over $2.3 trillion in assets across the full spectrum of private markets strategies, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and energy, and have invested in more than 3,500 portfolio companies worldwide.
Under John's leadership, BSP advises Partner Managers across fundraising and capital strategies, private wealth distribution, corporate strategy and M&A, human capital, ESG and digital transformation, including operational, AI, data science, and procurement advisory. John works directly with the founders and C-suites of these firms to help them scale, institutionalize, and compete as best-in-class managers.
John has also contributed to the publishing world, providing research and industry expertise for Michael Lewis's "Flash Boys" and Putri Pascualy's "Investing in Credit Hedge Funds."
John brings over two decades of leadership across asset management and investment banking. John received a BS in Finance from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
