John Wilson is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Client and Product Solutions, Institutional Capital. Before joining Blue Owl, John was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Prior to that, he spent most of his career at PIMCO in roles including Head of US Institutional Business, Head of Australia and Head of Global Consultant Relations. John began his career as a lawyer at Shearman & Sterling in New York.
John holds a BA and LLB from the University of Melbourne, MA from the University of New England and an LLM from Duke University. John is a director of Queensland Treasury Corp, Director of Ord Minnett and an Advisor to Brighter Super. He has previously been a director of QIC, LGIA Super, Eithad Stadium Melbourne, Rugby Australia, a Trustee of the University of New England Foundation and Chairman of the Investment Committee at the NSW ALC.
