Managing Director
Lauren Buxbaum is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Human Resources Team. In her role, Lauren makes talent at Blue Owl a strategic advantage by partnering with team members on leadership effectiveness, executive coaching, and broader talent development initiatives.
Before joining Blue Owl, Lauren founded Agility Advisers, a talent strategies consulting firm, and held executive Human Resources roles at Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, PIMCO, and BNY Mellon. Prior to this, as an investment banker, she advised corporate treasury groups on financial solutions to business problems, specializing in high yield interest rate hedging.
She received a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia University in the City of New York and is enrolled to earn a second master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, also at Columbia University.
