Matt Baker
Managing Director
Matt Baker is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he is focused on the origination and execution of investment opportunities for the direct lending business.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Managing Director in the Private Credit Group at Goldman Sachs where he was involved in the group’s leveraged loan and mezzanine investing strategies. Prior to that, he worked at Pinnacle Agriculture Holdings as the Vice President of Business Development and Financial Planning and Analysis, Credit Suisse as a Vice President in the Financial Sponsors Group, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as an Associate in the Syndicated and Leverage Finance Group and Lehman Brothers as an Analyst in the Private Wealth Management Group.
Matt earned an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and holds a BA in Economics from Boston College.
