Principal
Matt Perone is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Information Technology Team. In his role, he is responsible for leading data science for Blue Owl Real Assets.
Before joining Blue Owl, Matt served as the Head of Data Science at Oak Street Real Estate Capital, the predecessor to Blue Owl’s Real Assets platform. He began his career as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel, later founding Helix Partners, a global quantitative hedge fund. After leading Helix, Matt returned to Citadel as a Senior Quantitative Researcher before joining Blue Owl.
Matt attended Harvard, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Financial Economics, and a master's degree in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Decision and Control Theory.
