A. Michael Salem is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Insurance Solutions Investment Team. In his role, he is responsible for insurance technology and operations strategy.
Before joining Blue Owl, he was Founder and Co-CEO of Midwest Holding and American Life & Security Inc., where he built and led a technology-driven life and annuity insurance carrier from inception through its NASDAQ listing and IPO.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brown University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
