Principal
Rita Fernandes is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In her role, she focuses on business development and capital raising in the Middle East, working closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to bring the firm’s investment strategies to the region.
Before joining Blue Owl, Rita was a Vice President at Mubadala-backed Waha Capital in Abu Dhabi, where she was part of the business development and capital raising team focused on liquid hedge fund strategies across the Middle East. Prior to that, she was a Client Manager at GAM Investments in London and Madrid, where she was part of the Middle East Institutional Client team, working closely with regional investors while also supporting the Iberia and LatAm teams.
Rita received an Executive Master’s in Business Management from University Institute of Lisbon - INDEG Business School.
