Managing Director
Tammy Nakamura is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In her role, she focuses on overseeing compliance for the firm’s businesses across the APAC region.
Before joining Blue Owl, Tammy was a Managing Director at Blackstone where she spent 9 years as head of Japan Compliance. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in New York and Tokyo where she spent over 12 years in compliance and internal audit functions. Prior to that, she was a CPA at KPMG in NY. Tammy began her career as an analyst at Merrill Lynch in Tokyo.
Tammy received her BA in International Business, cum laude, from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.
