Yoichi Nakamura is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Private Wealth Japan. In his role, Yoichi leads a team to build Blue Owl's private wealth business in Japan.
Yoichi has over 25 years of experience in asset management and private wealth. Prior to joining Blue Owl, Yoichi was CEO of Algebris Investments in Japan, where he established the Tokyo office, obtained the license, built the team, and developed the business. Prior to that, he was in charge of business development at Fidelity International Limited Japan, where he was responsible for large distributors and the private wealth channel. He has also held various positions at other asset management companies.
Yoichi received his MS in International Business and Finance from the University of Reading and a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
