Angelo Bello is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Chief Operating Officer, Global Institutional Capital. In his role, he focuses on managing the overall operations of Institutional Capital, overseeing strategic initiatives and driving execution.

Before joining Blue Owl, Angelo was a Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of Business Development at GoldenTree Asset Management, a credit-focused asset manager based in New York. Prior to that, he was a Vice President in Fixed Income Strategy at Nomura Securities. Angelo began his career at Lehman Brothers, and later joined Barclays Capital as a Vice President in Capital Markets Strategy.

Angelo holds a BBA in Finance with a minor in Mathematics from Pace University, where he graduated with high honors.

Emmanuel Bello is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on underwriting and executing credit investments.

Before joining Blue Owl, Emmanuel was a Vice President at Owl Rock Capital Partners, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co in the firm's asset management division. Emmanuel began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS Investment Bank.

Emmanuel received his BA in Economics, with distinction and highest honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jan Belote is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Information Technology Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the technology needs of the firm’s Operations teams.

Before joining Blue Owl, Jan was a Director in the Institutional Client Technology department at Citibank. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at Dun & Bradstreet, a provider of commercial and financial data, analytics, and insights for businesses.
Jan began his career as a Programmer Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where he rose through the ranks, becoming the Global Head of the Institutional Lending Technology team.

Jan attended CUNY – Brooklyn College, where he majored in Computer and Information Science.

Nathaniel Ben-David is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing investments, primarily within the residential mortgage and specialty finance industry.

Before joining Blue Owl, Nathaniel Ben-David was a Principal at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team, where he held a similar role. Prior to joining Atalaya Capital Management, he was a Vice President at Varadero Capital, where he focused on a broad range of private structured credit investments within specialty finance. Previously, Nathaniel was an Associate at Angelo Gordon on the Residential & Consumer Debt investment team and an Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Securitized Products Group where he primarily traded mortgage backed securities.

Nathaniel holds a BS in Finance with a concentration in Energy Economics from Tulane University, summa cum laude, and is a CFA charterholder.

Philippe Benedetti is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he is responsible for driving the growth of the private wealth business in Switzerland. As a member of the EMEA Private Wealth team, he also supports business development and sales initiatives across Germany and Italy.

Before joining Blue Owl, Philippe spent four and a half years at Schroders, where he was responsible for business development for private markets within the Private Wealth division. He began his tenure leading Institutional Sales and covering Intermediary clients before moving to Schroders Capital, the firm’s private markets business. Previously, Philippe served as Alternative Sales Specialist and Senior Institutional Sales Manager for Switzerland at DWS. Earlier, he spent four years at UBS as a Hedge Fund Specialist and Investment Advisor. Philippe began his career on the buy side, spending nine years in the fund of hedge funds industry with 47 Degrees North and Man Investments, where he held a variety of investment-related roles.

He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur. In addition, Philippe is a CFA charterholder.

Allison Benjamin is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on providing legal counsel to private funds across Blue Owl.

Before joining Blue Owl, she was Senior Counsel at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team.  Prior to that, she was the General Counsel at Dorilton Capital Management, a private equity investment firm, where she was responsible for all of its mergers and acquisitions.  She also advised on a variety of corporate transactional matters at Locke Lord LLP.  Allison began her career as a corporate associate at Duane Morris LLP.

Allison received her JD from Brooklyn Law School and holds a BA in Political Science from Emory University.

Joe Benus is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on leading transaction underwriting and execution in the financial services and insurance space.

Joe originally joined Owl Rock Capital Partners, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform, in 2016 following two years as an Investment Banking Analyst in Leveraged Finance at Jefferies.

Joe received his BS in Finance and Economics (dual degree) from the Pennsylvania State University.

Joe Berardelli is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Technology Infrastructure. In his role, he is focused on managing and implementing all technology offerings for the firm.

Before joining Blue Owl, Joe was an Associate and Senior Systems Engineer at IA Interior Architects, a global design and architectural firm. Prior to that, he was an IT Manager at Babcock & Brown, an alternate investment and advisory firm.

Joe received a degree in Network Engineering from the Chubb Institute.

Alex Berenfeld is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. In his role, he focuses on delivering insights to partner manager investment teams during sourcing, diligence, and value creation as part of the Data Science team.

Before joining Blue Owl, Alex was a Vice President at JP Morgan, focusing on analytics within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). Prior to that, he was a consultant at Verisk Analytics.

Alex received a BA in International Economics from University of California – Davis.

Marla Berger is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on Blue Owl commercial real estate debt originations. She represents the team during the entire loan cycle.

Before joining Blue Owl, Marla was the Head of Legal for Commercial Mortgage Lending at Kuvare Asset Management, the predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. Before that, she was a Managing Director and Senior Vice President at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, the predecessor to Capmark Finance, Inc. Marla held several positions while there, including Head of Underwriting and Closing, COO of the company's Lending Group and Head of Client Relations and Portfolio Management. She began her career as an attorney at the New York law firm of Thacher Proffitt & Wood where she became an equity partner.

Marla earned her JD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received her BS in Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
