Ettore Spezzotti is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Real Assets Team. In his role, he focuses on sourcing and securing financing for Blue Owl's Real Assets strategies, while managing and growing relationships with lenders.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Ettore was Head of Debt Capital Markets, US, at GLP Capital Partners, responsible for the company’s financing and hedging strategies in the US. Before that, he worked at Eastdil Secured as a Director advising real estate sponsors on their financing needs. Ettore started his career in the Real Estate Banking Group at Wells Fargo.
Ettore holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, with an Emphasis in Real Estate Finance.
Matthew Spiro is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing opportunistic credit investments across the Alternative Credit platform, including corporate debt/structured equity opportunities, litigation driven investments, and portfolio purchases. Additionally, Matt is responsible for various strategic initiatives across the Alternative Credit platform. He sits on the Investment Committee for several funds on the Alternative Credit platform, including the Special Opportunities Fund.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Managing Director at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Alternative Credit team, where held a similar role. Prior to this, he was an analyst with the Candlewood Investment Group LP and an executive director with JPMorgan Alternative Asset Management.
Matt received a BS with University Honors in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Lukas Spiss is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he serves as the Co-Head of Origination and is responsible for deal origination and structuring as well as providing ongoing oversight of the portfolio.
Prior to joining Blue Owl in 2016, Lukas spent almost ten years at Partners Group, where he focused on sourcing and underwriting credit investments in North America. From 2015 to 2016 he also served as member of Partners Group’s Private Debt Investment Committee. Prior to that, in 2006, he was an Analyst at Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking Division in Switzerland.
Lukas received a Doctorate in Banking and Corporate Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and an MA (Hons) in International Business from the University of Edinburgh.
Alexa Stanley is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she is primarily responsible for the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and oversees certain corporate governance functions for Blue Owl’s business development companies. Previously, she was a member of the BDC Investor Relations team where she focused on all aspects of public shareholder relations.
Before joining Blue Owl in 2020, Alexa was an Investment Banking Vice President at RBC Capital Markets. There, she held roles in the Equity Capital Markets and Industrial & Diversified Services groups working on equity and debt financings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Alexa received her AB in Economics and Hispanic Studies, cum laude, from Davidson College.
Eli Stein is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Information Technology Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the Credit business and their Technology needs.
Before joining Blue Owl, Eli was a Vice President at Barclays. In that role, he headed technology teams for Securitized Products and for the Credit business. Prior to Barclays, he provided leadership to the technology team aligned with the Correlation Trading desk at UBS.
Eli received his BA in Computer Science from New York University.
Erik Stenger is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he leads the underwriting and execution of direct lending transactions within the healthcare sector.
Before joining Blue Owl, Erik was part of the investment teams at Antares Capital and Madison Capital Funding, where he focused on healthcare transactions. He began his career at Fifth Third Bank in the Commercial Leadership Program.
Erik holds a BS and an MBA from Xavier University and was a member of the men’s basketball team.
Matt Stewart is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of BDC Strategy. In his role, he is responsible for strategy across Blue Owl's Business Development Companies (BDCs). Before joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital for seven years and Chief Operating Officer of Oaktree’s BDCs since 2021. Before Oaktree's acquisition of the business, Matt was a vice president at Fifth Street Management. Matt began his career in restructuring as a senior associate at BDO Consulting before joining Knight Capital Group as a vice president. He became a director in the leveraged finance business of Stifel Nicolaus following their acquisition of Knight Capital’s fixed income business.
Matt received a BBA. in Finance and a BS in Accountancy from Villanova University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and CFA charterholder.
Ellie Stoneham is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In her role, she is responsible for building and strengthening long-term relationships with single-family offices.
Before joining Blue Owl, she worked at BlackRock for over 12 years, where she held various positions within the institutional client business. This included serving as a Director on the EMEA Family Office team, where she was responsible for building relationships and delivering investment solutions across asset classes. Most recently, she focused on driving highly customized or cross-platform solutions across the breadth of institutional client segments. Ellie began her career on the Middle East and Africa team, with direct accountability for business development in Africa and Israel.
Ellie received a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford and an MBA from London Business School.
Nicole Strange is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Human Resources Team. In her role, Nicole serves as the Head of HR for Institutional Capital.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Nicole was a Senior HR Business Partner at Bloomberg covering Financial Solutions. Prior to that, she was a Vice President in HR at Goldman Sachs where she was a Senior HR Business Partner covering Wealth Management, and earlier Global Markets, Operations, and Technology. Nicole started her career working in Financial Aid at Boston University School of Law and Columbia University.
Nicole received her B.A. in International Relations and M.Ed. in Higher Education Policy, Planning, and Administration from Boston University.
Johan Stromberg is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he focuses on building the firm’s footprint and asset base in the Nordic region for the Institutional Capital team.
Before joining Blue Owl, Johan was Head of Business Development, Nordics at Arcmont Asset Management, a leading European Direct Lending firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Bank of New York Investment Management and CEO of the Swedish Branch. Johan began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at HSBC.
Johan received his MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Lund in Sweden.
