Joanna Antkowiak is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In her role, she focuses on the expansion of Blue Owl’s private wealth business across EMEA. She is responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key private banks, designing a strategy on entering new markets, and building the private wealth team across the region.

Before joining Blue Owl, Joanna spent nearly a decade at Blackstone, most recently as a Vice President in their Private Wealth Solutions team. Prior to that, she began her career as a Researcher at Dealogic in the Institutional Client Management team.

Joanna received her BA in International Business, with high honors, from the University of Westminster. She is a CAIA charterholder.

Tammer Badran is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In his role, he focuses on all compliance matters regarding the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Economic Substance (ES) globally for the firm.

Before joining Blue Owl, Tammer was a Director within Wealth Management Tax Operations at Morgan Stanley, focusing on the Stock Plan and Retirement businesses. Prior to that, he was a Senior Tax Analyst at Prudential Financial Inc. supporting Prudential’s Asset Management businesses (e.g., PGIM), where he specialized in Information Reporting and Withholding (IRW) and advised Prudential Asset Management businesses on FATCA & CRS tax compliance. Tammer began his career as a Tax Associate at Grant Thronton and a Tax Accountant at a boutique tax firm.

Tammer received his BA in Economics from Rutgers University.

Matt Baker is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he is focused on the origination and execution of investment opportunities for the direct lending business. 

Prior to joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Managing Director in the Private Credit Group at Goldman Sachs where he was involved in the group’s leveraged loan and mezzanine investing strategies. Prior to that, he worked at Pinnacle Agriculture Holdings as the Vice President of Business Development and Financial Planning and Analysis, Credit Suisse as a Vice President in the Financial Sponsors Group, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as an Associate in the Syndicated and Leverage Finance Group and Lehman Brothers as an Analyst in the Private Wealth Management Group. 

Matt earned an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and holds a BA in Economics from Boston College.

Bobby Basinski is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Tax Team. Based in Short Hills, NJ, he is primarily focused on tax accounting, financial statement reporting and tax advisory.

Before joining Blue Owl, Bobby was an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., a global financial services firm, where he specialized in tax accounting and reporting. Prior to this, Bobby was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the Banking Capital Markets & Insurance group.

Bobby received a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Steve Beckett is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role as Head of Product Solutions, he focuses on new product development, structuring custom solutions for strategic clients, and providing thought leadership and consultancy for the institutional investor community.

Before joining Blue Owl, Steve was the Head of Private Markets Risk at Aksia, a leading alternatives investment consultant. Prior to that, he was in the North American Leveraged Finance group at Allied Irish Bank, where he managed credit portfolios covering middle market and large cap corporates, real assets, project finance and stressed and distressed credit.

Steve received his BBS in Finance and Strategic Management from Trinity College Dublin, from which he graduated with honors. He is a CFA charterholder and has earned the CAIA designation.

Jimmy Beecher is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Human Resources Team. In his role, he currently serves as an HR Business Partner for Blue Owl’s Private Wealth, Institutional Business Development and Real Estate teams.

Prior to joining Blue Owl, he held various HR Business Partner roles of increasing responsibility at Marsh McLennan. He also held HR advisory roles at AXA XL (formerly XL Catlin) and began his career in Communications and Operations at The Hartford. He received his degree in Business and Sociology from Bryant University in Rhode Island.

Angelo Bello is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Business Development Team. In his role, Angelo serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Institutional Business Development Team.

Before joining Blue Owl, Angelo was the Chief Administrative Officer of Business Development at GoldenTree Asset Management, a credit-focused asset manager based in New York. Prior to that, he was a Vice President in Fixed Income Strategy at Nomura Securities. Angelo began his career at Lehman Brothers, and later joined Barclays Capital as a Vice President in Capital Markets Strategy.

Angelo received a BBA in Finance with a minor in Mathematics from Pace University, where he graduated with high honors.

Jan Belote is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Information Technology Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the technology needs of the firm’s Operations and Finance teams.

Before joining Blue Owl, Jan was a Director in the Institutional Client Technology department at Citibank. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at Dun & Bradstreet, a provider of commercial and financial data, analytics, and insights for businesses.
Jan began his career as a Programmer Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where he rose through the ranks, becoming the Global Head of the Institutional Lending Technology team.

Jan attended CUNY – Brooklyn College, where he majored in Computer and Information Science.

Nathaniel Ben-David is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on sourcing, underwriting, executing, and managing investments, primarily within the residential mortgage and specialty finance industry. Before joining Blue Owl, Nathaniel Ben-David was a Principal at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team, where he held a similar role. Prior to joining Atalaya Capital Management, he was a Vice President at Varadero Capital where he focused on a broad range of private structured credit investments within specialty finance. Previously, Nathaniel was an Associate at Angelo Gordon on the Residential & Consumer Debt investment team and an Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Securitized Products Group where he primarily traded mortgage backed securities.

Nathaniel holds a BS in Finance with a concentration in Energy Economics from Tulane University, summa cum laude, and is a CFA charterholder.

Joe Berardelli is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Technology Infrastructure. Based in New York, he is focused on managing and implementing all technology offerings for the firm.

Before joining Blue Owl, Joe was an Associate and Senior Systems Engineer at IA Interior Architects, a global design and architectural firm. Prior to that, he was an IT Manager at Babcock & Brown, an alternate investment and advisory firm.

Joe received a degree in Network Engineering from the Chubb Institute.
