Prachee Shah is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the GP Stakes Value Creation Group. In her role, Prachee is part of the Operational Advisory practice focused on providing operational and technology-related best practice consulting and thought leadership to GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers.
Before joining Blue Owl, Prachee was a Vice President at BlackRock and held several roles during her time there. Most recently, she was part of the BlackRock Alternative Investors COO team. Prior to joining BlackRock, Prachee began her career as an Auditor at CohnReznick, LLP.
Prachee received a BBA/MBA in Public Accounting from Pace University. She is also a licensed CPA in the State of New York.
Tom Shanklin is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Investment Grade Private Credit. In his role, he focuses on leading the investment strategy and portfolio management for investment grade Corporate Credit, Asset Backed Finance and Structured Credit.
Before joining Blue Owl, Tom was a Managing Director & Head of Corporate Credit for Kuvare Asset Management, predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. In 2009, Tom joined Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, a Life Insurance and Property & Casualty financial services company based in Columbus, OH as a Senior Investment Professional. From 2012 through 2021 Tom was the Managing Director & Head of Private Debt and led the development of Nationwide’s multi-billion dollar Private Debt investment strategies. Preceding Nationwide, he worked for Deutsche Bank Capital Markets and SunTrust Capital Markets (now Truist). Tom began his career in the Corporate Banking Training Program at SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, GA.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Jared Sheiker is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Chief of Staff, Real Assets. In his role, he serves as a member of the Investment Committee and focuses on sourcing and structuring transactions, supporting investor relations, and other real assets and corporate initiatives.
Before joining Blue Owl, Jared was an Investment Banking Analyst at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel Company.
Jared received his BBA in Finance and Accounting from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.
Sania Sheikh is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on corporate governance and transactional matters across all investment platforms.
Before joining Blue Owl, Sania was an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, where she covered separately managed accounts, private equity, private credit, and the mutual funds businesses within Goldman Sachs Asset Management L.P. Prior to that, she was a paralegal at Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello PC.
Sania received a BA in Philosophy and Web Design from New York University.
Li Shen is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she focuses on all finance functions for the GP Strategic Capital Funds.
Before joining Blue Owl, Li was a Finance Manager at Brighton Park Capital, a growth equity firm. Prior to that, she was a Manager at Ernst & Young LLP providing assurance services to private equity clients.
Li received an MS in Accounting from Syracuse University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Brett Sheppard is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Internal Audit & Controls Team. In his role, Brett assists in the development and execution of the overall audit strategy for the firm, including risk-based and regulatory driven projects. He is responsible for oversight of various audit, assurance, and advisory engagements across Credit, Real Assets, and Insurance Solutions.
Before joining Blue Owl, Brett was a Senior Manager at Scotiabank, a Canadian multinational banking and financial services company located in New York. Prior to that, he was an Investing & Lending Controller at Goldman Sachs, covering Real Estate and Private Equity. Brett began his career as an auditor at the Office of Legislative Audits in Baltimore, MD.
Brett received an MBA and BBA in Accounting from the Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Jing Shi is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Insurance Solutions Investment Team. In her role, she focuses on providing investment solutions to Blue Owl’s insurance clients.
Before joining the firm, Jing was a Vice President in the Portfolio Management team at Kuvare Asset Management, predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions, where she was responsible for managing Kuvare’s general account portfolios. Prior to that, she worked in asset management roles at Pension Insurance Corporation, Legal & General and Fidelity & Guaranty Life in both the UK and the US. Jing started her career at Lehman Brothers in London where she was a member of the ALM advisory group.
Jing received her BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, first class honours, from Imperial College London and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Rachel Shipp is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In her role, she is responsible for developing and deepening relationships with key Centers of Influence (COIs) to accelerate education, awareness, and adoption of Blue Owl’s investment solutions.
Before joining Blue Owl, she was a Key Account Director at Workday, where she managed and expanded some of the firm’s largest and most strategic client relationships. Prior to Workday, she was at Stripe, where she helped launch and scale the Enterprise Sales Team. She began her career in asset management at iShares / BlackRock, building a foundation in investment solutions and client engagement.
She received a degree in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from Emory University.
Blake Shorthouse is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Global Family Capital. He leads the firm’s global efforts in building and strengthening long term relationships with single family offices.
Before joining Blue Owl in 2025, Blake spent a decade at KKR where he founded and led the Family Capital business in EMEA. Prior to KKR, he held senior roles in Zurich and London at Credit Suisse and UBS. Blake began his career at Merrill Lynch in London.
Blake received his BA in History and Politics from the University of Exeter (UK). He serves as a Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery, London.
Charlotte Shropshire is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In her role, she co-leads the firm’s efforts building and strengthening relationships with single family offices in the Americas.
Before joining Blue Owl, Charlotte was the Head of Investor Relations and Fundraising for Menlo Ventures. Prior to that, she was a partner at Sofinnova Investments. She has spent over two decades fostering long-term relationships with investors across alternatives, including private equity, private credit, venture capital and real estate. Charlotte began her career in finance at Goldman Sachs in Institutional Equity Sales.
Charlotte received her BA in Government at Dartmouth College and her MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business.
