Franky Tam is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm's Private Wealth business development in Asia.

Before joining Blue Owl, Franky was General Manager of China at Aegon Asset Management. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Neuberger Berman's Institutional and Retail business development for China and Hong Kong.

Franky received his BSc from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School. Franky is a CFA charter holder.

Marcus Tang is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In his role, he supports the international compliance effort at Blue Owl. 

Before joining Blue Owl, Marcus was a Compliance Officer at LMR Partners, a global multi-strategy hedge fund, for their London and Hong Kong offices.  Prior to that, he was a Fund Oversight Senior Analyst at Fidelity International.  Marcus previously worked as a Compliance Analyst at Point72 and began his career as a Graduate Trainee at the Hong Kong financial regulator, the Securities and Futures Commission.

Marcus received his BBA (Economics) from the University of Science and Technology.

Max Tanner is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, Max serves as a National Sales Manager, leading a team of Market Leaders focused on developing and servicing relationships with Private Wealth financial advisors across North America.

Before joining Blue Owl, Max was an Internal Sales Manager at Franklin Templeton Investments and Legg Mason. Prior to sales leadership, he was an Internal Regional Director at Legg Mason. Max began his career as a Financial Advisor for the Barnum Financial Group, an office of MetLife.

Max received a BS in Finance and Economics from Quinnipiac University.

Julia Tcherkassova is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she is responsible for client reporting, including the preparation of the firm’s quarterly financial statements, consultant questionnaires, audit and performance reporting.

Before joining Blue Owl, Julia was the Chief Financial Officer at Prima Capital Advisors, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Real Estate Credit strategy, where in addition to her client reporting responsibilities, she oversaw Prima’s loan/asset surveillance function.  Prior to that, Julia spent two years at Barclays as a Director and lead strategist in the firm’s CMBS business. Julia also served as a co-editor of the quarterly produced by CREFC, the CMBS industry’s leading trade association.  Prior to that, Julia worked at Merrill Lynch (Bank of America) for eight years as a member of the firm’s real estate research team.

Julia received her degree from the Moscow Finance Academy (Economist with a Major in Finance and Credit and minor in Mathematics) and earned her MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Zachary Tcheyan is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, Zach focuses on sourcing and evaluating minority investments in private markets focused GPs.

Before joining Blue Owl, Zach was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was a senior member on the Investment Team of the Petershill Funds, a GP Stakes platform, and a member of the Petershill Investment Committee, based in New York. In this role, his responsibilities included sourcing, negotiating, and executing transactions and managing relationships with partner GPs. Prior to that, Zach began his career in 2008 serving in various investing roles in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs.

Zach received his BA, with Honors, in Economics and Music Composition from Bowdoin College.

Jon ten Oever is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. Jon is also a member of the Technology Lending Investment Committee. In his role as Co-Head of Underwriting, he focuses on overseeing the day-to-day underwriting of technology investments.

Prior to Blue Owl, Jon was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC from 2007 until 2019. At Goldman Sachs & Co., Jon held several positions in the Americas Financing Group’s Leveraged Finance Group, including leadership of the TMT and Healthcare verticals. Prior to working at Goldman Sachs, Jon was a Vice President at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, in the Media & Telecom Group from 2000 until 2007 and an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from 1997 until 2000.

Jon received a BA from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario and a JD from the Yale Law School.

Kurt Tenenbaum is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. Based in Menlo Park, he is focused on helping lead the firm’s investing efforts in technology companies. Past and present portfolio companies include Blend, DoorDash, Relativity Revolut, Robinhood, SpaceX and Signifyd.

Before joining Blue Owl in 2019, Kurt was a Managing Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co., based in New York City where he ran Technology, Media & Telecom Leveraged Finance Capital Markets and Global Acquisition Finance within Investment Banking.

Kurt received a BSM in Finance from Tulane University and is a Charter Financial Analyst. Currently, Kurt serves on the Board of Directors for Signifyd and as a member of the Silicon Valley Advisory Committee of the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco.

Amanda Teplen is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In her role, she focuses on supporting the firm by reviewing and negotiating distribution and placement agreements with third party intermediaries in the US and globally.

Before joining Blue Owl, Amanda was an Associate at Alston & Bird, where her practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, governance matters, capital raising transactions, and general corporate matters. Prior to Alston & Bird, Amanda was a Litigation Associate at a leading civil defense law firm. 

Amanda received her JD from Brooklyn Law School, and her BA in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Miami.

Alexey Teplukhin is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Real Assets Team. In his role, he is responsible for capital markets activities across Blue Owl's Digital Infrastructure strategy globally.

Before joining Blue Owl, Alexey was a Managing Director at IPI, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Digital Infrastructure strategy. Prior to that, Alexey served as a Director in the Structured Finance division of Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for the firm's digital infrastructure debt investments.

Alexey received his BSc in Economics, with First Class Honours, from the London School of Economics.

Kierstyn Thayer is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Citizenship & Belonging. In this role, Kierstyn has the global responsibility for shaping how the firm engages its people and the communities where it operates through programs such as Blue Owl Leads Together (BOLT), our grantmaking and charitable sponsorships, Employee Resource Groups, Blue Owl Celebrates, and more. She aligns these initiatives with the firm’s values, risk and compliance standards, and our broad stakeholder expectations.

Prior to Blue Owl, Kierstyn spent nearly 20 years leading revenue and growth strategies for high-impact nonprofits, including The Opportunity Network, The New School, and SEO, after beginning her career at Teach for America. She is a former board member of the Minnesota Independence College and Community (MICC).

Kierstyn received her BA from Tufts University.
