Kevin Raidy is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Healthcare Opportunities. In this role, he oversees all private and public investment activity related to Healthcare Opportunities and sits on the Fund’s Investment Committee.
Previously Kevin was a founder and Managing Partner of Cowen Healthcare Investments, the predecessor to Blue Owl Healthcare Opportunities. Prior to his role at Cowen Healthcare Investments, Kevin was Cowen’s Head of Investment Banking and prior to that he was Co-Head of Cowen’s Equity Capital Markets Group. Before that Kevin was a Managing Director at Ramius LLC where he was responsible for direct investments and convertible bonds. Kevin’s sell side experience includes 10 years at Shipley Raidy Capital Partners, a boutique investment banking firm which he co-founded. Prior to founding Shipley Raidy, Kevin was an associate at Philadelphia First Group. He started his career at Cantor Fitzgerald before moving to Merrill Lynch as an analyst in the municipal finance group.
Kevin is a member of the Board of Directors of NodThera Ltd, Neuron23, Aro Biopharmaceuticals, Latigo Biotherapeutics, and Sundance Biosciences, while also a Board Observer at Delfi Diagnostics.
Kevin received a BS in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Umar Rashid is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he is a Principal at Blue Owl and a member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Based in New York, he focuses on supporting the firm’s Direct Lending business within the Credit platform.
Before joining Blue Owl, he was a Senior Fund Accountant at MGG Investment Group, where he worked in the Private Funds Direct Lending group. Prior to that, he worked at Headlands Asset Management as a Senior Accountant, where the firm’s strategy focused on performing and re-performing residential mortgage loans. Earlier in his career, he worked within the Financial Services Audit practice at Grant Thornton, specializing in audits of alternative investment funds.
He received a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Economics from Pennsylvania State University.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Matthew Rees is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. Based in London, he focuses on managing Blue Owl's GP Strategic Capital relationships with investors and alternative asset management firms in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Before joining Blue Owl, Matthew was the Global Head of Marketing for the NB Alternatives platform, a group of hedge fund and private equity businesses.
Matthew received his degree in accounting and economics from The Pennsylvania State University and holds an MBA from New York University.
Grace Reilly is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Global Client Marketing. In her role, she is the Head of Private Wealth Marketing focused on growing the Blue Owl brand, generating leads, and supporting fundraising across products with Financial Advisors and End Clients.
Before joining Blue Owl, Grace was a Director at BlackRock in Marketing. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Citi in Global Consumer Marketing. She began her career at Citi as an Assistant Vice President in the Global Consumer Bank at Citi.
Grace received her BA in Political Science from Duke University.
Michael Reiter is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Chief Operating Officer, Real Assets. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing Blue Owl Real Assets' implementation and execution of capital markets, business development, investment and asset management activities. Michael is a member of the Blue Owl Real Estate Investment Committee and serves on the Board of Trustees of Blue Owl Real Estate Net Lease Trust, a private placement REIT, and Store Capital, a private REIT.
Prior to Blue Owl, Michael served as Managing Director in the Real Estate Investment Management division at Cantor Fitzgerald. Michael was a member of the Board of Trustees of Plymouth Industrial REIT, Inc. and a Senior Vice President and Head of Capital Markets at VEREIT, Inc. and American Realty Capital, where he was responsible for real estate acquisitions, capital markets and business development. Michael commenced his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young as a Manager in the real estate advisory and assurance practices.
Michael received his BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and his MS in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
Eric Render is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he co-leads the firm’s efforts building and strengthening relationships with single family offices in the Americas.
Before joining Blue Owl, Eric was an original member of Dyal Capital Partners, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s GP Strategic Capital platform. While at Dyal, Eric was on the team's Business Services Platform – its strategic value creation unit – and focused on its Capital Strategy initiatives for 10 years. Prior to joining Dyal, Eric was a member of Neuberger Berman’s marketing department, focusing on International Equities, Emerging Markets and REITs. Prior to that, he was an analyst at MBG Expense Management, an IT and Telecom expense management consultant. Eric began his career as a writer at the UK news agency, Adfero.
Eric received a BA in English from The Pennsylvania State University and also studied contemporary UK politics at the London School of Economics’ Hansard Scholars Research Programme.
Jess Renner is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Corporate Operations & Strategy. In her role, she focuses on planning and execution of the firm’s corporate, strategic initiatives, including M&A diligence and integration, vendor management, global corporate real estate and more. She also provides leadership to the firm’s Corporate Sustainability initiatives, including our Citizenship efforts.
Before joining Blue Owl 's Corporate Operations & Strategy team, Jess was a Vice President on the Operational Advisory team within the GP Strategic Capital Business Services Platform. Prior to that, Jess was a member of the Corporate Strategy team at Och-Ziff Capital Management Group, an alternative asset management firm based in New York. Jess began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank in the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging, and Leisure Group.
Jess received her BBA, with high distinction, from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Daniel Retzner is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Net Lease Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the deal team on new developments and acquisitions.
Before joining Blue Owl, Dan was an Assistant Vice President at Marx Okubo Associates, providing due-diligence AEC consulting for equity investors and lenders. Prior to that, Dan was a Director and Senior Project Manager at Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture, a developer-focused design firm in Chicago. Dan began his career at Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture in Chicago, designing high-performance and supertall high-rise buildings around the world.
Dan is a licensed architect, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Dan earned a bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Tommy Rodriguez is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on managing trade settlements for the firm’s Insurance Solutions business.
Before joining Blue Owl, Tommy was the Settlements Manager at Kuvare Asset Management, the predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. Prior to that, he was the Clearing Manager at Bunge North America and Associate Director at UBS. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Tommy holds a BS from Iowa State University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, and will begin his Executive MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Fall 2026.
Rafael Rojas is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Insurance Solutions Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on portfolio risk management and analytics.
Before joining Blue Owl, Rafael was a Director at Kuvare Asset Management, the predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. Prior to that, he held risk management and prime brokerage finance roles at Citi, DTCC, Deutsche Bank and Swiss Re responsible for enterprise risk management framework, quantitative models, stress testing and enterprise resiliency. Rafael started his career in the RMBS group at Moody’s Investors Service.
Rafael received an BS/MS in Applied Mathematics from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
