Johann Santer is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Private Wealth APAC. Johann is a member of the global Private Wealth Leadership Team and in his role, he focuses on the firm’s expansion of the Private Wealth business across Asia Pacific markets. Johann is responsible for fundraising, expanding strategic relationships, and identifying innovative solutions for high-net-worth clients and their advisors across the APAC region.
Johann has more than 20 years of experience in the asset management and private banking industry. Before joining Blue Owl, Johann was Fidelity International’s Regional Lead for Wholesale, alongside his role as Head of Private Banking, Wealth and Strategic Clients, APAC ex-Japan. During his tenure, Johann led the successful buildout of Fidelity International’s private banking and wealth franchise in the APAC regions, adding coverage of Hong Kong and Singapore Wholesale. Prior to that, Johann was Managing Director and Head of Investment Specialists, Funds Hong Kong, at Bank Julius Baer and before that he spent 10 years at a leading quant based Hedge Fund overseeing global fund distribution. He started his career at the Credit and Rating Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Austria (OeNB).
Johann earned a combined master’s and bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Applied Science BFI Vienna.

Alex Santos is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating and structuring direct lending transactions for borrowers in the food, beverage, and agriculture sectors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Alex was an Associate on Continental Grain Company’s private equity team focused on investments within the broader food and agriculture industries. Alex began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup in New York.
Alex received a BS in Finance and BA in Statistics from Rutgers University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Pal Sarai is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, his responsibilities include developing business and overseeing creation of fund vehicles in Europe.
Before joining Blue Owl, Pal was a Managing Director of Prima Europe based in the UK, a subsidiary of Prima Capital Advisors, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Real Estate Finance strategy. He managed Prima Europe and its office in London. Pal worked closely with Prima’s CEO and CIO to identify European investment opportunities that were presented to the Prima investment team in the course of normal business. Prior to that, Pal was Global Head of Client Consulting for the investment consulting firm, bfinance.
Pal received his BA (Honors) in Finance and an MBA from Imperial College, London. Pal is a CAIA charter holder.
Nitin Sathe is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting Blue Owl's Digital Infrastructure strategy.
Before joining Blue Owl, Nitin was General Counsel at IPI Partners, LLC, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Digital Infrastructure strategy, and General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Iron Point Partners, LLC. Prior to that, Nitin was counsel at Vinson & Elkins LLP from 2003 to 2013, where he focused on transactional and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, project development, joint ventures, and private equity. Prior to Vinson & Elkins, Nitin clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 2002 to 2003.
Nitin earned a JD, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law and a BA, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia.

Michael Savinelli is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he focuses on institutional client relationship management.
Before joining Blue Owl, Mike was a Senior Vice President at Neuberger Berman, a multi-asset investment management firm based in New York, as a Client Advisor within the Institutional Client Group.
Mike received his BA in History from Loyola College of Maryland.
Yasir Sayed is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he focuses on capital raising and fund formation in the Middle East, working closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to bring the firm’s investment strategies to the region.
Before joining Blue Owl, Yasir was Deputy Head of Investor Coverage at Greenstone Equity Partners, the largest placement firm in the Middle East. At Greenstone, he led capital raising efforts across a broad range of private markets strategies. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Credit Suisse in London as part of the Sales and Advisory team, working with institutional investors on both public and private markets strategies. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Citigroup in London, where he focused on managing strategic partnerships and client relationships.
Yasir holds a Bachelor of Science in International Management from SOAS, University of London, and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), UK.

Mitchell Schacher is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. Mitchell is part of the Capital Strategy practice providing fundraising advisory and client development support to GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers. He is focused on managing relationships with US institutional investors in the Midwest, Central US, Latin America, and real asset investors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Mitchell was Head of Corporate Access at UBS, where he built extensive relationships within the corporate investor relations community and advised public issuers on global investor opportunities. Prior to that, he served as COO of Sales for the Equities Division and Prime Brokerage.
Mitchell received a BS in Neuroscience, with honors, from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.

Mark Schachter is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he is focused on the origination and execution of investment opportunities in the healthcare and technology sectors. Mark is a member of the investment committees for the Asset Leasing and Special Opportunity Funds.
Prior to Blue Owl, Mark worked at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl's Alternative Credit team. Prior to that Mark held roles at Elm Park Capital and HBK Capital Management. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse Group.
He is currently a board member at the SMU Alternative Asset Management Center and the ADL (Texoma chapter).
Mark received his BA in Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
Katy Scharn is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Human Resources Team. In her role, she focuses on compensation by serving as a strategic partner and subject-matter expert in close collaboration with Finance and HR teams to manage compensation processes, ensure accurate benchmarking, and support workforce planning. She also leads HR data governance and analytics initiatives, developing scalable reporting capabilities and visual dashboards to deliver actionable insights that align with HR’s strategic goals.
Before joining Blue Owl, Katy was a Vice President at Two Sigma Investments, where she spent 7+ years on the HR team focused on Compensation and Project Management. Prior to that, she worked at several companies including MUFG Union Bank, GE Capital, McLagan (Aon), Morgan Stanley, and UBS.
Katy received three undergraduate degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park including a BS in Finance, a BS in International Business, and a BA in Japanese.

Michelle Schepis is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In her role, she focuses on institutional client relationship management.
Before joining Blue Owl, Michelle was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, within the investment management division based in New York, as a Client Portfolio Advisor for Alternative Investment Partners. Prior to that, she focused on hedge fund due diligence within Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management's Graystone Research team. Michelle began her career as a due diligence analyst at Parker Global Strategies.
Michelle received her BS in Biological Sciences from Fordham University.
