Katie Fowler is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In her role, Katie leads Direct Lending Portfolio Strategy with over a decade of experience in Credit. Katie and her team are responsible for supporting the growth of the firm’s Credit platform by acting as a conduit between the Direct Lending investment team and global Private Wealth distribution channel.
 
Prior to Blue Owl, Katie was a Principal at Blackstone where she led the Credit Product Strategy efforts within Private Wealth Solutions. Her focus was dedicated to supporting the growth of the Blackstone Private Credit Fund (BCRED) with Financial Advisors and Home Office clients globally.

Katie’s experience in Credit markets began at BlackRock where she led the Private Wealth Strategy team within the Global Credit platform. In this capacity, she provided portfolio and market insights regarding Private Credit, High Yield Bond, Leveraged Loan, and Multi-Strategy Credit funds.

She began her career in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs, specifically within Private Wealth Management. 
 
Katie graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in International Politics.

Wendy Fraioli is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she focuses on accounting and client reporting relating to Blue Owl open ended funds and separately managed accounts specializing in commercial real estate debt.

Before joining Blue Owl, Wendy was a Vice President at Prima Capital Advisors, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Real Estate Credit strategy. Prior to that, she was a Fund Controller at Emil Capital Partners LLC, a private equity investment firm for two years, Vice President/Portfolio Controller at Hunt Investment Management, a real estate investment manager for six years, and a Vice President at AQR Capital Management, an investment management firm, for 10 years. Wendy began her career as an auditor in financial services with KPMG.

Wendy received her BBA in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Hofstra University and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2002.

Justin Frantzreb is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm’s Alternative Credit business.

Before joining Blue Owl, Justin was the Director of Operations and Treasury at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Cerberus Capital Management LP, focused on CLO Compliance, Bank Debt and Trade Operations. Justin began his career at Morrison & Foerster LLP.

Justin received his BA in International Economics, from The George Washington University (Elliott School of International Affairs).

Allie Fuss is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In her role, she focuses on trading broadly syndicated leveraged loans on behalf of both the Liquid and Direct Lending strategies.

Before joining Blue Owl, Allie was a Director at CBAM Partners, a CLO manager founded in 2016 that was acquired by The Carlyle Group in 2022. She started her career on the Leveraged Loan trading desk at Morgan Stanley.

Allie received her BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

Michael Gabriel is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities, and underwriting equity and financing transactions for the GP Strategic Capital investment team.

Michael joined in 2015 from Deutsche Bank’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group, where he advised corporate clients and financial sponsors on the evaluation and execution of transactions.

Michael earned an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a BA from the College of the Holy Cross. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Cole Gallagher is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. In his role, he focuses on delivering insights to partner manager investment teams during sourcing, diligence, and value creation.

Before joining Blue Owl, Cole was Director of Client Analytics at Fetch Rewards. Prior to that, he was a Manager at KPMG, as a member of the Deal Advisory and Strategy Analytics practice. Cole began his career as a Data Science & Project Management Consultant at BlumShapiro (now a part of CliftonLarsonAllen).

Cole received his BS in Economics, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University.

Roberto Garibay is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting data integrity, asset & cash reconciliations, and valuations for the firm’s Insurance Solutions business.

Before joining Blue Owl, Roberto performed the same role at Kuvare Asset Management, predecessor to Blue Owl Insurance Solutions. Prior to that, Roberto was an Insurance Client Service & On-Boarding Specialist at Guggenheim Partners Investment Management, LLC and an Accounting Manager at CNA Insurance within the Investment and Finance areas.

Roberto received his BS in Accounting, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Chris Gates is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he focuses on developing partnerships with institutional investors. 

Before joining Blue Owl, Chris was Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Marblegate Asset Management, a distressed debt investment firm. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Tricadia Capital Management, a multi-strategy credit hedge fund, where he was responsible for leading the institutional business development effort. Prior to that, Chris was a member of the institutional sales team at Mariner Investment Group, where he oversaw the internal business development group. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the institutional marketing and client service group at Bear Stearns Asset Management. 

Chris received his BA in American Studies from Colby College, and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.

Grant Gaughrin is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Real Assets Team. In his role, he focuses on capital markets and sourcing new investments.

Before joining Blue Owl, Grant began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Keefe Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company.

Grant received his BA in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Tim Gaven is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Investor Operations Team. In his role, Tim serves as the Head of Investor Services.

Before joining Blue Owl, Tim was a Manager at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a financial services industry utility in Jersey City. Tim began his career as a Project Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Tim received a BA in Political Science with minors in Economics & International Business from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
