Matt Merrill is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he focuses on maintaining and establishing strategic relationships with financial advisors and wealth management teams throughout the Southeast with primary concentration on Wirehouse platforms.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Matt held Regional Vice President roles at Guggenheim Investments, CION Securities, and Wells Capital. Matt also founded Merrill Interests, a real estate operating and management company.
Matt earned a BBA from the University of Georgia, and an MBA from Georgia State University in Atlanta with a focus in Finance and Real Estate. Matt maintains Series 7 and 63 registrations.
Joe Miata is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on finance and operations for the GP Strategic Capital platform.
Before joining Blue Owl, Joe was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a multinational accounting and advisory firm based in New York, providing assurance services to clients in the alternative investments industry.
Joe received his BS in Accounting from Villanova University and is a licensed CPA in the State of New York.
T. Michael Johnson is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Institutional Capital Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the firm's marketing initiatives and fundraising for the firm's Real Assets strategies.
Before joining Blue Owl, T. Michael was a Managing Director at CIFC Asset Management. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Carlyle Global Credit, Senior Managing Director at Pretium Partners, Managing Director at Paulson & Co., and Director at Citi Private Equity. T. Michael began his career as an investment banker at Citi Corporate and Investment Banking and an attorney at Anderson Kill & Olick.
T. Michael received his MBA from Harvard Business School, JD from the University of Michigan Law School, and BA in Political Science, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Boston College.
Laura Michel is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she focuses on accounting and financial reporting for Blue Owl Real Estate Net Lease Trust.
Before joining Blue Owl, Laura was a Senior Manager in Audit at KPMG, where she worked with clients in the asset management and real estate industries.
Laura received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
Wendy Milacci is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In her role, she supports the liquid credit strategy and focuses on the day-to-day operations of the broadly syndicated loan investments.
Before joining Blue Owl, Wendy was a Senior Vice President at Par-Four Investment Management and was responsible for all aspects of the operations function for the CLO’s. She began her career at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) working as a mutual fund accountant before transitioning to the Portfolio Administration group concentrating on the bank loan mutual funds and CLO’s and lastly as a bank loan and high yield bond trader for the Global High Yield Bond and Bank Debt Group.
Wendy received her BS in Accounting and Finance from DeSales University (FKA as Allentown College of St Francis de Sales).
Dan Miller is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he focuses on maintaining and establishing strategic relationships with financial advisors and wealth management teams throughout the Southeastern US with primary concentration on wirehouse platforms.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Dan was a Vice President & Senior Advisor consultant at Putnam Investments for 17 years.
Dan earned his BS in Finance from Bentley University, in Waltham Massachusetts. He maintains Series 7 and 63 registrations.
Andy Millikin is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In his role, he works closely with field executives and centers of influence at Blue Owl's largest Private Wealth partners, providing education and insights on private markets and alternative investments.
Before joining Blue Owl, Andy was a Director on the iShares team at BlackRock. Prior to that, he was a Regional Director at Dimensional Fund Advisors and a Senior Internal Sales Executive at Vanguard.
Andy received his MBA from the University of Texas and holds a BS, summa cum laude, in Finance from Arizona State University.
Brian Moore is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Alternative Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating and structuring asset-based financing transactions for borrowers in the financial services sector.
Before joining Blue Owl, he was an Investment Professional at Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. Brian began his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, where he worked on the Leveraged Finance team.
Brian received his BSE in Operations Research and Financial Engineering, with a minor in Environmental Studies, from Princeton University.
Alfredo Moreira is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Credit Finance & Capital Markets Team. In his role, he focuses on all aspects of originating, structuring and capital markets for the firm’s collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), warehouse lending facilities and investment vehicles. Additionally, he focuses on investing in structured products for the firm’s funds and managed accounts.
Prior to joining Blue Owl, Alfredo was a Director and Deal Team Lead in the CLO originations group at Bank of America in New York. Prior to BofA, Alfredo was an associate in the CLO banking group at GreensLedge Capital Markets. Alfredo began his career as an Analyst at Ernst & Young's Structured Finance practice in New York.
Alfredo received his BS in Finance and Minor in Business Law from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University.
Andrew Morris is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Legal Team. In his role, he focuses on supporting the Real Assets business.
Before joining Blue Owl, Andrew was Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at First Eagle Alternative Credit in Chicago. Prior to that, he was an associate with Kirkland & Ellis LLP providing legal and regulatory advice to private fund sponsors. Andrew previously worked as an associate with Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP providing advice with respect to fund formation and capital markets offerings.
Andrew is a member of the Executive Circle of the Institute for International Economic Policy at the Elliott School of International Affairs. Andrew received his JD, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and holds a BA in International Affairs, magna cum laude, from The George Washington University.
