Melissa Callahan is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Marketing Team. Before joining Blue Owl, Melissa was an Events Manager at Warburg Pincus. Prior to that she was an Events Manager at White & Case LLP focusing on the firm’s event initiatives in North and South America.
Melissa received her BA in Communications from James Madison University.
Jerry Cammarata is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. Before joining Blue Owl, Jerry was the Chief Financial Officer of Atalaya Capital Management, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Alternative Credit team. At Atalaya, Jerry was responsible for all finance, accounting, operations and tax functions as well as chairman of the firm’s Valuation Committee and member of the firm’s Enterprise Risk Committee. Prior to joining Atalaya in 2012, Jerry was a Vice President with Torchlight Investors where he was responsible for the accounting and operations of various commercial real estate debt funds (both private and ’40 Act registered funds). While at Torchlight, Jerry also served as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Jerry began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP where he worked on audit engagements for hedge funds, private equity, and mutual funds of various strategies and sizes.
Jerry holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation, both from Fairfield University. He is a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
Laurie Campbell is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In her role, she focuses on implementation of the compliance program for the firm’s limited purpose broker-dealer.
Before joining Blue Owl, Laurie worked at Fieldpoint Private Securities, LLC and Vision Financial Markets, LLC in senior compliance roles. Prior to that, she was a mortgage securities analyst at CS First Boston Investment Management (which has evolved into a successor firm) and then spent six years as an institutional account management officer at BlackRock.
Laurie received her BS in Marketing and Management from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Lee Campbell is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, Lee heads Accounting Policy and financial diligence for M&A activities.
Lee has 28 years’ experience and prior to joining Blue Owl he held positions at MetLife (2 years), AIG (10 years), PwC (10 years) and other auditing firms (5 years). At MetLife he led a team of 10+ people in Accounting Policy for investments, financial diligence for M&A activities & supported SEC reporting. At AIG he was the Global Head of Accounting Policy Team of 30+ people with locations in NYC, London, Houston, and Tokyo while overseeing financial diligence efforts for M&A activities and the Learning & Development Group. At PricewaterhouseCoopers he was a Senior Manager in audit and completed a three tour in the firm’s National Office.
Lee is a CPA in NJ/NY and received a BSBA in Accounting from Old Dominion University.
Shane Cantwell is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Liquid Credit Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities and capital markets coverage.
Shane joined Blue Owl when the firm acquired Wellfleet Credit Partners, the predecessor to Blue Owl’s Liquid Credit team, which he joined at its founding. Prior to that, he was a member of the leveraged loan capital markets team at Credit Suisse.
Shane received his BA from Fairfield University.
Lamar Cardinez is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the GP Strategic Capital Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities, underwriting transactions and capital raising for the Blue Owl HomeCourt Partners Fund.
Before joining Blue Owl, Lamar was an Investment Banking Associate at Guggenheim Securities. Prior to that, Lamar was a member of the National Football League’s Junior Rotational Program where he worked in various media and business development roles and spent time at the 2014 Super Bowl Host Committee and Madison Square Garden.
Lamar received a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University, where he graduated with honors, and received an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson College of Business.
In 2024, Lamar was named to Private Equity International’s Future 40 list in its Dealmakers category.
Nicole Cardona is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Tax Team. In her role, she focuses on product structuring, tax compliance, investor reporting and operations for the Real Assets platform.
Before joining Blue Owl, Nicole was a Senior Vice President at Fortress, focused on tax compliance and investor reporting of the credit funds. Prior to that, Nicole began her career with PwC in the Real Estate Asset Management and Private Company Services practices.
Nicole received a BS in Accounting from Boston College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
Adam Casella is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on evaluating and structuring direct lending transactions for borrowers in the financial and insurance services sectors.
Before joining Blue Owl, Adam was a member of the investment team of Blackstone Credit (formerly, GSO Capital Partners), based in New York. Adam began his career in investing banking at Barclays, where he focused on M&A and corporate finance for companies in the Power & Utilities sector.
Adam received a BS in Finance with a concentration in history, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University. Adam later received an MBA with high distinction from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he graduated as an Edward Tuck Scholar.
Vin Cataldo is a Senior Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Tax. Vin is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee and serves as Vice President of Blue Owl Capital Inc., the Blue Owl Advisers, BDCs and Blue Owl Real Estate Net Lease Trust.
Prior to joining Owl Rock in 2018, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform, Vin was a Director in the Banking & Capital Markets team at PwC, where he specialized in tax consulting, structuring, compliance and reporting services. During his tenure at PwC from 2014 to 2016, he was a member of the mergers and acquisitions group in PwC’s Washington National Tax Services practice in Washington, D.C., specializing in partnership taxation and the Up-C structure. Preceding those roles, Vin was a Lead Senior Accountant and Assistant Fund Controller at the Capital Group in 2011, after beginning his career with PwC in 2007.
Vin received a BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, and a MS in Taxation from Fordham University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Maximilian Cervelli is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he serves as an assistant controller for the diversified Business Development Companies (BDCs).
Before joining Blue Owl, Max was the Head of Finance at Sagard, a global alternative asset manager focused on private credit, private equity, real estate, and venture capital. Max started his career in
public accounting at Deloitte and Touche LLP.
Max received his BS in Accounting from The College of New Jersey and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey.
