Matt DeFusco is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on originating direct investments outside of Blue Owl’s core private equity channel, covering family offices, family owned businesses, hedge funds and select publicly traded companies.

Before joining Blue Owl, Matt was a Managing Director and ran Leveraged Finance Origination at Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs.

Matt received a BA in International Relations from Brown University.

Tim DeGrange is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. Based in Menlo Park, he is focused on equity, structured capital, and debt investments in growth stage software, fintech, and marketplace businesses. Before joining Blue Owl, Tim was an Associate Director at Temasek, a Singapore-based investment fund. Prior to that, he was an Associate at Battery Ventures. Tim began his career as an Analyst at Lazard.

Tim received a BA in Economics and Statistics from UC Berkeley.

Tara Dempsey is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In her role, she focuses on Investment Advisory Compliance across the firm’s platforms.

Before joining Blue Owl, Tara was a Vice President at Onex Credit Partners. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, LP. Tara also served as a compliance officer at Evercore and Third Avenue Management.

Tara received her BS in Finance from New York University.

Darby Dent is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Direct Lending Investment Team. In his role, he focuses on credit oversight and portfolio analytics of the Blue Owl Direct Lending business.

Before joining Blue Owl, Darby was a Vice President on the Portfolio Analytics team at HPS Investment Partners. Darby began his career as an Analyst at Cantor Fitzgerald and received a BA in economics from Rutgers University.

Jerry DeVito is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and the Head of Structured Products & Fund Finance. Based in New York he runs the Structured Products and Fund Finance teams.

Before joining Blue Owl, Jerry was a Managing Director at GSO Capital Partners, Blackstone’s alternative credit platform. At GSO he focused on structuring fund leverage facilities, asset manager acquisitions, risk management and other structured credit activities. Prior to Blackstone, Jerry was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the collateralized loan obligations and related collateralized product businesses at Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse, Jerry was a Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he held various positions in investment banking and high yield capital markets, most recently as Co-Head of High Yield Structured Finance. Jerry began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert in the Financial Institutions Group.

Jerry received a BA in Economics and a BS in Engineering from Cornell University.

Brandon Diez is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis for the firm. 

Before joining Blue Owl, Brandon spent over 10 years at KKR where he was most recently a Principal focused on Financial Planning & Analysis. Earlier, he held controllership and fund accounting roles in KKR’s Hedge Fund Solutions business. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Banking & Capital Markets group. 

Brandon received his BSBA in Accounting from Bucknell University, Magna Cum Laude, and is a CPA in the State of New York.

Andrew DiResta is a Managing Director at Blue Owl and member of the Finance, Accounting & Operations Team. In his role, he focuses on the controllership of the public company and it's subsidiaries, including oversight of the financial close and reporting process as well as accounting operations.

Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Operating Principal (Series 27 license) who has previous experience in accounting regulatory and compliance matters through his work as an external auditor employed by Rothstein Kass, where Andrew was responsible for conducting annual financial audits, quarterly financial reviews and compliance audits across a variety of industries. Andrew also has experience as a corporate controller with regulatory reporting and filings for broker dealer entities registered with FINRA, Real Estate industry and Asset management firms.

Andrew recieved a BA from the University of Albany.

Dan DiVietri is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Business Services Platform. In his role, Dan is part of the Capital Strategy practice providing fundraising advisory and client development support to GP Strategic Capital Partner Managers. He is responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance to Blue Owl’s GP Stakes Partner Managers on fundraising strategies with West Coast investors. 

Before joining Blue Owl, Dan was a Principal at Aviditi Advisors, a global alternative capital raising advisory firm. Prior to that, he held positions in Evercore’s Private Funds Group and earlier, in PJT Park Hill’s Private Equity Group. Dan began his career in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs.

Dan received a BA in Economics & History with a concentration in Leadership Studies from Williams College.

Meghan Donoghue is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Private Wealth Team. In her role, she focuses on supporting client relationships across Northern California and the Pacific Northwest for all Blue Owl strategies.

Before joining Blue Owl, Meghan was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where she was responsible for alternative investments distribution on the west coast. Meghan began her career as a corporate bond broker at ICAP in New York.

Meghan received her BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, and is a CFA charterholder.

John Dooley is a Principal at Blue Owl and member of the Compliance Team. In his role, he focuses on Advisory Compliance as well as the Credit BDCs.

Before joining Blue Owl, John was a Senior Compliance Manager at Invesco, a global asset manager. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Vice President at OppenheimerFunds supporting the firm’s exchange traded funds and before that he was a Director of Compliance at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. John began his career as a Compliance Associate at Prudential Financial in the Fixed Income Compliance group.

John received his BA in History and Philosophy from Boston College.
